【对外交流|线上】2023-2024春夏学期英国威廉希尔公司本科生海外交流项目——辛动力系统线上课程申请通知（课表更新）
英国威廉希尔公司将于2024年2月26日-2024年6月17日邀请美国马里兰大学-帕克分校数学系Brin首席教授、奥地利科技学院讲席教授、欧洲科学院院士Vadim Kaloshin，开设辛动力系统线上课程。该课程面向英国威廉希尔公司在校本科生开放，课程内容主要围绕动力系统领域开展。具体情况如下：
一、申请要求
（一）项目对象：
英国威廉希尔公司大三、大四在读本科生（2020级、2021级）
（二）申请条件：
1. 热爱社会主义祖国，具有良好的政治素质，无违法违纪记录；
2. 品学兼优，身心健康；
3. 德智体美劳全面发展，知识、能力、素质和记实综合考评优良；
4. 优先考虑没有参加过对外交流的学生；
5. 其它条件请参考项目具体要求，请务必详细了解项目情况、并根据自己的学业安排进行统筹规划后再行申请。
二、项目信息
（一）课程介绍
Topics in Symplectic Dynamics
Abstract: Equations of motion given by the second Newton law led to a class of dynamical systems that preserve
a certain structure, called symplectic structure. During the class we shall discuss such dynamical systems and well-known methods to study them such as Variational Principle, Maupertius principle. It leads to Poincare-Cartan invariant, Poincare last geometric theorem. An important subclass of such systems is called Integrable systems. One of the goals of the class is to present a famous KAM (Kolmogorov-Arnold-Moser) theorem on the existence of an abundant set of quasi-periodic motions for nearly integrable systems.

Vadim Kaloshin，美国马里兰大学-帕克分校数学系Brin首席教授、奥地利科技学院讲席教授，欧洲科学院院士，曾获得美国科学院院士提名、西蒙斯奖等荣誉，现担任Adv. Math., Ergodic Theory Dynam. Systems等杂志编委，主要从事动力系统领域的研究，在国际上最顶尖的四大综合性数学期刊Acta Math., Ann. of Math., J. Amer. Math. Soc., Invent. Math.上公开发表高质量学术论文8篇，在Duke Math. J., Geom. Funct. Anal., J. Eur. Math. Soc (JEMS), Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.等国际权威期刊上公开发表高水平学术论文65篇。
